Learn to safely expand and transform your yoga practice from upright to inverted while building core strength! This is a great course for those who are looking to begin an inversion practice, or take their inversions to the next level as well as gain an understanding of the Ashtanga Jump Through / Jump Back. During this workshop we’ll begin by practicing the core exercises that directly relate to the Jump Through / Jump Back and discuss the various characteristics of these dynamic movements. Then we’ll be examining headstand, forearm stand, handstand and all of the elements that go into a strong, safe inversion practice. Come ready to have fun, and explore a new found strength that you may have never thought you had!
Please bring a pair of socks with you, as we will be using them for practice drills.
